Gold at the 2024 Telly Awards: “Riding With Your Best Friend”

Our film for Orbea Bikes, “Riding with Your Best Friend,” won Gold at the 2024 Telly Awards in the Branded Content category. We made it with the agency Rebel Ventures. It is the kind of work we started Leeward to make.

Riding with Your Best Friend

The film follows a mountain biker and his dog through the forest. There is no dialogue. The story is carried by the cinematography, the color, and the sound design, and by the bond between the rider, the trail, and his dog.

What are the Telly Awards?

The Telly Awards have run since 1979 and recognize work in video and television across every screen. They are well known in the industry, and a Gold is a strong result in a crowded field.

What the win means to us

An award does not change the film. What it tells us is that the craft landed with people who watch a lot of work, and that gives us something to point to when we pitch the next one.
