Orbea tapped Leeward Productions to produce My Perfect Shot, this three-film, award-winning campaign. We contributed creative development alongside agency partner Rebel Ventures, then produced all three films and handled post production in house. Each one follows athletes and filmmakers chasing the one frame worth everything, with a roster that includes NFL star Cam Jordan, Olympic snowboarder Hailey Langland, pro mountain bikers Geoff Gulevich and Zach Heath, and filmmakers Chris Ray and Abe Kislevitz. As Orbea described it, My Perfect Shot is “more than just a series, it’s a call to action for others to share their content,” a community where photographers, cyclists, and adventurers live through each other’s stories under #MyPerfectShot. We shot across Berkeley, Sacramento, and Lake Tahoe, and the landscapes hold the screen as well as anyone in the cast. The campaign’s real breakout star, though, had four legs.

That would be Maisey. Riding with Your Best Friend, the campaign’s centerpiece, follows mountain biker Zach Heath and his dog riding in perfect sync down berms and off jumps. The film won a Gold Telly Award and a Communicator Award for branded content.
